Are you interested in baptism or confirmation into the Gnostic Catholic Church? Are you interested in serving in the Gnostic Mass as a priestess, priest, deacon, or child? On February 23rd, Aum Ha Oasis will be having two celebrations of the Gnostic Mass, where the EGC sacraments of baptism and confirmation will be offered. Please read below the details on how to sign up to receive sacraments during these elegant ceremonies. Two Masses will be celebrated with two different Mass teams, including a guest priest.

The first Mass will include Baptisms. The doors will open at 1:30 pm and will be closed at 2:00 pm for the Mass. Baptisms will be performed immediately before the Mass. Baptism in the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica, the Gnostic Catholic Church, means that one becomes a member of the community. To be baptized, you will need two sponsors for the Baptism. Those baptized are eligible to serve in the Mass in the role of child. You can fill out the necessary paperwork and ask for sponsors at the Mass on 1/19/25 or Feast of the Stars on 2/2/25..

Between Masses, we will enjoy snacks and have a guest speaker who will talk about Incorporating Your Thelemic Identity into Your Work Dress Code. In this presentation we will learn how to express our will inside and outside of our professional lives through our clothing choices. How much should we dress up or down? What do our color choices communicate to our co-workers? These questions and more will be answered!

The second Mass will include Confirmations. The doors will open at 4:30 pm and will be closed at 5:00 pm. Confirmations will be performed immediately after the Mass. Confirmation in the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica, the Gnostic Catholic Church, means that you become a member of the Body of the Church. For this sacrament, you will need to recite the Gnostic Creed from memory, a plain a white robe, and one confirmed comrade to stand with you in the ceremony. Confirmation in EGC allows Minerval initiates and above to join the EGC novice program whereby they may learn the roles of priestess, priest, and deacon. You can fill out the necessary paperwork on the Mass on 1/19/25 or Feast of the Stars on 2/2/25..

Please note that both of these Masses only the people being baptized and confirmed will be taking communion of the Eucharist (the Cake of Light and wine). There will be no popular communion. If you have a friend who may be curious about the Gnostic Mass, but not yet ready to communicate, this is an excellent Mass to bring a guest. Seating is limited, so please RSVP to Frater Wayne at aumha.secretary@oto-usa.org .

We ask for a donation of $10.00 for the space rental and if you can bring an item of food or drink for the social time and gatherings afterwards that would be great.

While the Pentagram is more wildly known, the Hexagram touches upon the Seven Classical Planets. We will be discussing the Greater Ritual of the Hexagram. Oddly enough it is not a set ritual and more of a toolbox that lets you invoke and banish planetary energies for your own rituals.

Masks are not required but you are free to wear one.

It is rich in symbolism and meaning, touching upon the Qabalah and Thelemic Theology. In a series of classes taught by members of Chalice of Heaven Oasis, we will discuss the Thoth Tarot Deck and show that using the deck can be as simple or as complex as you choose to approach it. We touch upon Tarot myths, the usage of the Thoth deck and additional sources of information. Even though we will focus on the Thoth Deck, people who use other decks, like the Ryder-Waite will find benefit as well. This class is for all users of the Tarot,  whether you are an old hand or just bought your first deck before the class. There is no cost for this class but donations are welcome.

Come celebrate the First Day of the Writing of the Book of the Law, with our traditional incense workshop! We will be learning the basics on how to create our Temple incense blend while reading the first chapter of Liber AL vel Legis. This incense blend will then be used throughout the year as our temple incense. We will be lead by Frater Heru the Owner of The Empress & the Hierophant. He has been making incense since 2017. Frater Heru's recipe is a synthesis of Hank Anderson’s old recipe and his own, both based on the verse in the book of the law. “My incense is of resinous woods and gums…” Everyone will get a bag to take home.

Fee is $11 for members of the public, $5 for dues current O.T.O members. A small sachet of the incense is included in the event, with larger bags available for sale. All money goes to keeping our doors open.

The Divination Method in Appendix A of the Book of Thoth will be discussed as well as the 15 card spread that comes with the book with the Thoth Tarot deck

Chalice of Heaven will be starting a series of classes dealing with one of the most iconic symbols of the occult, the Pentagram. This series of classes will be lighter on theory and more about how do use them in rituals. The fourth class will discuss Liber V vel Reguli, an incantation proper to invoke the Energies of the Aeon of Horus, adapted for the daily use of the Magician of whatever grade. We will discuss an overview and anyone will be welcome to do it. This is the perfect chance to try it if you never done it before.
